I am sure that it can get quite frustrating if you sit around and wait for Betfair to update the status of your horse racing bets. As you all probably already know, I make a living from horse racing so it is very important for me to know the results of each horse race as soon as it is over.

I do a lot of progressive betting so I always need to know the results of the last horse race that I bet on. The results will determine the stakes for my next bet or if I will place a bet at all.

When I started betting on horse racing I had no idea that it was at all possible to get the results within minutes of the race finish. I used to assume that I lost the previous race, so my progressive stakes would snowball up to quite a large figure! I made a lot of money this way and have also lost a lot of money, thankfully I am wiser now.

It’s really a mystery to my why Betfair has chosen not to provide any results for all the markets. I think that if they were to provide some quick results, there will be a lot of very happy customers.
