Have you noticed how much profit Daily Donkey has already made this year? The are currently averaging 20k profits a month so far and it is only April now. They still have 8 months to go and if they can maintain that kind of performance then 2008 may become thier best year so far since they started the Daily Donkey service.

The only very siginificant problem that I found with following Daily Donkey selections was that Don tends to select a few more higher priced selections that I am happy to lay. I try not to select too many high priced selections for Horse Laying Professionals and even when I do select some higher priced horse I only advise memebers to lay it for half or a quarter of a point.

We should be able to slowly and steadily increase the size of our Betfair accounts so that we can fully utilise the power of compounding. We don’t want to work really hard for a few days to earn some good profits and then lose it all on one day.

It currently looks like Daily Donkey may have their act together this year and you should be able to make some money from following their selections. You would however be better off just laying the selections within  a certain price range so that you minimise the risk on your beting bank. Do remember that the higher the prices of the lays the less you can lay it for as you should not over expose your betting bank on any one single bet.

Another 3 Points Profit

So there you have it, it is really easy to make a profit from horse laying.

I wrote this short report some weeks ago. It is basically a system that I’ve used to select potential winners with a 35% accuracy.

You can use this this system in the UK markets as well as the AUS races. The systems selection method does present more potential winners when used in the UK races.

It is basically a way to identify smart money that pours in a few minutes before the start of each race to back the most likely winner of that race. All you need to identify this money that will likely be betting on one of the 3 top favourites.

How To Select A Horse To Lay

One of the easier ways to start making money from horse racing is to lay horses. Since it is relatively easier to select a losing horse compared to a winning horse, you should have an easier time making a profit.

The only other concern other than selecting a horse and it wins it the odds/price of the selection. This is why it is best to select “cheap” horses, meaning that you are targeting to lay favourites.

The way to choose a suitable horse is to scan through all the race forms for the day’s races and look for races where the horse a very evenly matched. The best races to look for are maiden races. If all the horses have never raced before it is almost the perfect choice - the favourite should be layed. Simply for to Racing Post to find the race forms and pick 1 horse to lay.

The other selection method that you can use is to find a race where all the horses have run before but are evenly matched. Meaning that there is no clear favourite in terms of form. Obviously there will always end up being one favourite by looking at the price. As most of the horses will have a similar price, you can select the one with the lowest odds. Meaning that you will lay the favourite.

This is one way for you to start making some money from horse laying.

I use a few selection methods to pick my selections for Horse Laying Professionals and send out an average of 10 selections a day.

Getting Paid For Searches

Here is an interesting situation that is set to take the internet by storm. So incase you haven’t heard, you’d better listen to this.

A majority of internet users have been using Google to search for information that they are looking for. Google is by far the most superior search engine and most internet marketers really don’t care about ranking in other search engines but focus their effort primarily on ranking high in Google for their keywords.

Horse Laying Profits - How To Select a Tipster?

Let me ask you one question?

If you had been a member of Horse Laying Professionals since 1 Apr 2008 and made 70.57 pts from following my selections, would you be pleased?

You see it is not difficult to make money from horse racing. All you need to do is select your selections provider carefully. All you need to do is go to Racing Index to run a search for a suitable tipster.

Here are the most important points that you should be looking for.

Just set the search parameters and click submit, do this with all the lay tipsters and see which ones provide you with a sizeable profit.

The other thing to look out for is that the tipster sends out at least 3-7 selections a day. Please don’t waste your time and money with a tipster with a 95% strike rate who only send you 3 selections a week. You won’t even make enough money to cover the subscription cost.

The last thing you need to take into consideration is the cost of the tipster’s subscription. The average cost is around 50-60 pounds a month. You need to check with the tipster about the size the required betting bank - how many points.

Making Money With Daily Donkey

As some of you would know, I used to be pretty passionate about laying Daily Donkey selections because of the sheer number of selections given out everyday.


I got a little fed up after following their selection for around a year and had problems ever matching the odds that they got. So my results were way way different from that stated on their website. I did figure out a way to keep making profits with some of their selections but this limited the number of selections that I could lay making my daily profit potential quite low.


Before I used my technique on their selections I would have a nice winning streak of 12 wins and then one loss would wipe out all the winnings and more. Also don’t forget that each time we win when we lay we need to pay Betfair commisions, which at the end of the month could come up to a lot.


For example yesterday they layed Arceye at Chepstow at SP 19.00, over at Betfair that would have been around 22.00 …. and the horse won. This is what I really hate about it, win 12 in a row and lose twice as much on a single horse.


This is the reason why most people fail to make any money from Daily Donkey selections. Many people think…’well it’s free’ but to have your Betfair account wiped out in 2 short months is not a laughing matter.

Since I was pretty much laying only half or less of their selections, I was making money but rather slowly. This gave me an idea of searching for my own horses to lay and after a few months of success I decided that I should start a lay service. So Horse Laying Professionals was born.
